Currently we are dependent on other charitable trusts for most of our funding, with a small amount coming from churches and individuals. We receive no government funding for our activities, and we do not charge the schools for the work we do for them.
We would like to be able to plan further ahead but do not have the financial stability to do so. We are looking for individuals and churches who want to give back to their local schools, and so building the local community, by providing a regular income to TYP. This can be yearly, termly or monthly, but will give us the ability to budget and plan forward.
We want to offer the schools more, which will mean an increase in staff hours in the academic year 2020-21. Sustainability is good for TYP, good for the pupils, good for the schools, good for our community … in fact everyone benefits! Please consider your part in this:
- Is your child or grandchild in a school? Give towards the work there.
- Are your employees’ children in local schools? Support building into their lives.
- Does your church want to see our communities transformed? Partner with us in your local school.
Every penny donated is put back into TYP to help support the work that is going on and to expand it in the future, enabling us to bring God’s love to more children and young people across Tipton and beyond, and to build community.
If you would like to sponsor a specific activity or gift of books, please contact us to explore what fits best for you. Alternatively, if you would like to make a donation, please post a cheque (made payable to Tipton Youth Project) to 102 Dudley Road, Tipton, DY4 8DL. If you are able to Gift Aid, please download the Gift Aid Declaration Form, complete it, and send it along with your cheque.
